The Son, Men, and Stars

Who made the sun, moon, and stars? The same One I wrote about in this Christmas poem. Marvel with me at Christ’s humility and humanity!

The Son, Men, and Stars

The sky, it hung above the land –
Night unfurled by holy hand.
And placed by same divine command,
Behold! a star o’er Bethlehem.

Suddenly, with brilliant host,
Came forth what darkness needed most.
The Morning Star took earthly post –
A lowly king, sans diadem.

Helpless baby, wondrous might;
Shepherds neared in joy-struck fright.
Wise men chased his Eastern light.
The One they sought, had just sought them.
