Alyssa Marie Bentham has spent a lifetime taming her imagination into some form of writing. As a child, she regaled her sisters and parents with stories and poetry, some quirky, others inspirational.
As a teenager, Alyssa dipped her toe in the publishing pool by submitting poems to contests and websites, holding tightly to a dream where she could write stories for a living in her pajamas with cats and chocolate nearby.
This dream, to serve God with her words, was further fueled by a passion for the past. Not content to leave behind history’s people, places, and events, Alyssa determined to keep their lessons and triumphs alive by infusing them into stories that make you wonder and wish.
She has won rave reviews from her enduring family and patient cats. Hoping to expand that audience to you, she recently took the plunge, diving head first, into writing her debut novel.
